What are the Construction Supplier Register’s mandatory pre-qualification requirements?
Construction works and services suppliers are bound by and must comply with the Construction Supplier Register’s mandatory Conditions of Pre-qualification and the Victorian Government’s Supplier Code of Conduct. Suppliers are also required to submit evidence, at least annually, that they’ve met the Construction Supplier Register’s financial (for construction works suppliers) and non-financial eligibility criteria.
How often does the Construction Supplier Register team vet pre-qualified suppliers against its mandatory pre-qualification requirements?
The Construction Supplier Register team vets suppliers as part of a range of ongoing, due diligence processes:
- at the time of the supplier’s initial pre-qualification application process
- during mandatory reviews, conducted at least annually, of all pre-qualified suppliers
- when alerted to issues of supplier non-compliance with the Construction Supplier Register’s pre-qualification requirements (e.g. from Australian Securities and Investment Commission subscriber alerts).
